PRODUCT: HIGH BUILD GLOSS
DESCRIPTION:
Finecoat High Build Gloss is a modified alkyd based topcoat for both exterior and interior use. It has good colour and gloss retention.
INTENDED USE:
It is an economical general purpose alkyd-based topcoat for structural steel, concrete slabs and woodwork. This product is not intended for
use in an aggressive, corrosive environment or on highly pitted or contaminated steel.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces to be coated should be cleaned, dry and free from contamination, prior to paint application, all surfaces should be assessed and treated in accordance with ISO 8504-1992.
Oil or grease should be removed in accordance with SSPS – SP1 solvent cleaning.
REPAIRS
Areas of breakdown, damage e.t.c must be prepared to the specified standards by abrasive blasting or power tool cleaning of the affected areas that requires repair.
APPLICATION METHOD
Brush and roller are suitable for areas where the high dry film thickness is not really needed or else multiple coats will be necessary to achieve the expected film built.
WORK STOPPAGE
Do not allow paint material to remain in the hose, guns or spray equipment. All unused
paint/material should be stored in tightly closed containers. The material should be properly filtered prior to use.
Clean up all equipment immediately after use with a general-purpose thinner. All surplus material and empty containers should be disposed of in accordance with the country’s regulations.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
The product must be stored in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated space and away from the source of heat and ignition. Be aware that shelf life depends on temperature.

Handle with care before and during use. All works involving the application and use of this product must be performed in accordance with the relevant national health, safety and environmental
standards and regulations. Use under well-ventilated conditions. Do not breathe or inhale the mist. Avoid skin contact; spillage on the skin should be well flushed with a suitable cleanser, soap and
water. Eyes should be well flushed with water and seek medical attention immediately.
